On 9th September 2026, Rosamund met Sir Ed Davey, Leader of the Liberal Democrats in the House of Commons, and Olly Glover MP, the party’s Transport Spokesperson, to discuss the urgent need to get the Clean Air (Human Rights) Bill, known as Ella’s Law, onto the statute book.
During the meeting, Rosamund asked Sir Ed to raise Ella’s Law directly with the Prime Minister at Prime Minister’s Questions and call on the Government to support its implementation.
With an asthma attack happening every two minutes in the UK and a child still dying from asthma every month, the need for action remains urgent. These deaths and many severe asthma attacks are preventable.
Ella’s Law would establish a human right to clean air and strengthen the UK’s approach to tackling air pollution. The Ella Roberta Foundation continues to work across political parties to build support for the Bill and urge the Government to take the action needed to protect children’s health and save lives.
